Journal Questions for the New Year

These journaling questions will act as a guide to reflecting on what lies ahead and help you connect to your intuition. Answer these questions at your favourite coffee shop or let it be more ceremonial, in cozy sweats at home with candlelight. Here we go…

Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths. Feel yourself getting still and steady.

Before putting your pen to paper, gently whisper this prayer to yourself (if it resonates)…

Dear Universe,

May you reveal to me my next steps,

May you help me see what’s important,

May you guide the way.

1 - Moving into the new year, what do I want to embody?

Peace. Gentleness. Acceptance. Abundance. Let it come to you

2 - What’s working?

In your current life. In your mindset

3 - What’s not working?

In your current life. In your mindset

4 - Visualize this year. What would you like it to bring? What would make you excited? What do you see for yourself? Write it out as you see it in your head. Be as detailed as possible. Where do you want to go?

Opportunities that open, manifestations that come true, growth & new places, the kind of people you’re with

5 - Create an affirmation

One that feels right at this moment in time. One that reflects your wishes for this new year ahead. Let it be one you can continuously come back to

6 - How do I want to be of service to others?

In work, family life, with strangers, and otherwise

7 - Where can I surrender?

So that I may lead with a sense of faith, trust, and acceptance

Finish by taking a deep breath in, and a deep breath out. Good work, love. You’ve let the Universe (and your deeper subconscious self) know what it is you want. As best you can, release your grip. What’s meant for you will find you.

I’m wishing you a beautiful start to your year.

With warmth,

jewelia, xx
